Who we are

SeedSpark is made by SyncSpark Solutions Inc., a company in British Columbia, Canada. “We” in these terms means us. “You” means the adult who creates the account.

Accounts

An adult (a parent, guardian or teacher) creates the account and adds children to it. Children use SeedSpark under that adult's care. You are responsible for your sign-in and for what happens on your account.

Free levels and the family plan

The first three typing levels are free, with no card needed. The family plan opens everything for every child on the account and costs $79 CAD a year, plus tax: GST, or HST where it applies, is added at checkout. Stripe processes the payment, and the charge comes from SyncSpark Solutions Inc.

The plan renews each year on the date you bought it. Stripe emails you a reminder about a week before each renewal. You can cancel any time from the Family plan page; the plan stays open until the end of the year you paid for, and it does not renew.

Refunds

If the plan isn't right for your family, email hello@seedspark.app within 30 days of a payment (the first one or a renewal) and we will refund that payment in full. No questions.

Gift codes

A gift code opens the family plan for the time printed with it, usually 12 months, starting the day it is used (or, if a gift is already running on the account, the day that one ends). Each code works once. It has no cash value and does not renew or charge anything when it ends.

Price changes

If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before your next renewal, so you can cancel first if you want to. A change never applies to a year you have already paid for.

The stories and the app

The stories and software in SeedSpark are ours. You may use them for your family's own learning. Please don't copy, resell or try to break the service.

Changes and availability

We improve SeedSpark over time, which can mean changing or removing features. We work to keep it running, but we can't promise it will never be down. If we ever close SeedSpark, we will refund the unused part of any plan year.

Liability

SeedSpark is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
